Surfing in Scotland

Scotland has an amazing array of reefs and beach breaks on all coasts. It also has some of the most beautiful and least populated coastline in Europe.

SWELLS - The majority of North Atlantic storms track northeast between Iceland & Scotland and across to Scandinavia. This pumps westerly swells onto the west coast, northwest swells across the north coast, and northerly swells down the east coast.

WINDS - Prevailing winds are from the southwest. A high pressure in the top of the North Sea will give the north & west coasts offshore winds. A high pressure in the bottom of the North Sea will give the East coast offshore winds.
